How can embedded tutors (alumni hired as non-classified short-term employees) gain Canvas access after losing access to their RCCD student accounts?

Once RCCD alumni are hired as Non-Classified Short-Term employees, they will no longer have access to their student user/email account, and instructors cannot add them to their Canvas classes with their student account.

  • Request a College User Canvas account from the Canvas Power User at your institution, according to the current contact list below:
    • Riverside City College: Derek Moore, Derek.Moore@rccd.edu
    • Norco College: Leonard Riley, Leonard.Riley@norcocollege.edu
    • Moreno Valley College: Tom Vitzelio, Tom.Vitzelio@mvc.edu
  • If a Canvas Power User needs to request a password reset for a user, please email your request to the Distance Education department at dehelp@rccd.edu
