New Student Email Password Instructions

How do I access my student email for the first time?

The default password will be the first letter of your first name capitalized, followed by the first letter of your last name lower-case, followed by your six-digit date of birth MMDDYY. For example, if your name is Steven Tracy and your date of birth is March 2, 1995, your default password is St030295.

Steps:
  1. Go to the RCCD Microsoft Apps portal at https://go.rccd.edu 
  2. When prompted for a username, enter your RCCD student email address and select Next
  3. When prompted for a password, use the default password detailed above and select Sign in
  4. You will be prompted to update your password
  5. The old password would be your default password.
    1. Email Password Requirements:
      1. 8 -Must be at least in characters length
      2. It must have any 3 of the following rules:
        1. 1 -uppercase character
        2. 1 -lowercase character
        3. 1 -numeric character
        4. 1 -special character
        5.  the new password cannot be the same password used within the last 10 (passwords used).
  6. You will be prompted to sign in once again with the new password just created.
