Why can I no longer access WebAdvisor?

  • The new MyPortal replaces WebAdvisor and the older version of MyPortal.  Students will be able to complete their course enrollment through the new MyPortal. 

 

Which web browsers are supported in the new Student MyPortal system?

  • Chrome
  • Edge (v 79.x or later)
  • Firefox

 

Can I use the Safari or Internet Explorer web browsers to access the new Student MyPortal system?

  • Safari and Internet Explorer browsers are not supported browsers for the new Student MyPortal system. The recommended/supported web browsers are Chrome, Edge, and Firefox.

 

Why am I receiving an error message saying my account is blocked when attempting to access the new Student MyPortal system ?

  • Your student account may not have been properly configured to access Student MyPortal during the transition process. Please contact RCCD Helpdesk Support from the options below to have your RCCD Student account updated.

 

How do I purchase a parking permit in the new Student MyPortal system?

  • From the left-hand navigation menu, select Financial Information > Student Finance > Order Your Parking Permit.

 

Is there or will there be a replacement in the new Student MyPortal system to the Academic Review feature available in the current (old) version of MyPortal?

  • This Academic Review feature is available within the Self-service Student Planning module which will not be available within the new MyPortal.

  • This feature is available within the Self-service Student Planning module which will not be available within the new MyPortal.

 

How do I view my class schedule as well as my assigned registration dates/holds in the new Student MyPortal​​​​ system?

  • Specific student registration dates will show when registration priority dates are assigned, and registration hasn’t opened yet.  It will show on the term of your plan/schedule.

 

How do I access my emails from within the new Student MyPortal system?

  • Within MyPortal, expand the left-hand navigation menu for “Other Resources” and then click on the “Microsoft 365 for Student” menu item.
