RCCD has three self-service wireless networks, administered by RCCD, to provide internet access:

Wireless Network: eduroam

The eduroam wireless network is available at all participating academic institutions, across over 100 countries, including UCR (University of California, Riverside)

Students and employees receive free Internet connectivity via eduroam through your RCCD account. Simply log in with your RCCD full email address as username and password, then trust the certificate.

You should not use this wireless network with District/College-owned device while at RCCD locations. District/College-owned devices should auto-connect to rccd_managed which is required to access internal resources. Reserve the use of eduroam for District/College-owned devices when offsite or on personal devices.

How to Connect to the RCCD Wireless Network: eduroam
You should not use this wireless network with District/College-owned device while at RCCD locations. District/College-owned devices should auto-connect to rccd_managed which is required to access internal resources. Reserve the use of eduroam for District/College-owned devices when offsite or on personal devices.
1. Find and select the "eduroam" wireless network.
2. A notice should appear or your device will prompt you for further actions

3. A webpage should appear or your device and will prompt you for further actions. Use your "RCCD Microsoft 365 username (email address) and password" to "Sign On".

4. Once you input your Username and Password, you will be presented with an Authentication Page, click "Trust". Your device will be then be connected to the "eduroam" wireless network. (Your first time connecting could take longer than expected, please be patient.)
How to Connect to the RCCD Wireless Network: rccd
1. Find and select the rccd wireless network.
2. A webpage should appear or your device and will prompt you for further actions. Use your "RCCD Microsoft 365 username (email address) and password" to "Sign On".

3. When you've entered your credentials correctly, you will be presented with an Authentication Successful page. Click "Continue".

4. On the final page, the "Continue" button will transition to "Done". Click "Done". You are now on the rccd wireless network.
How to connect to the Wireless Network: rccd_guest
1. Find and select the "rccd_guest" wireless network.
2. A webpage should appear or your device will prompt you for further actions.
- For Standard guest access: Use the displayed credentials
- For Elevated guest access: Use the sponsored credentials provided by your technology point-of-contact.
- After entering your credentials, click "Sign On".

3. Read the RCCD Guest Acceptable Use Policy, then click "Accept".

4. Once you "Accept", you will be presented with an Authentication Successful page, click "Continue"

5. On the final page, the "Continue" button will transition to "Done". Click "Done". You are now on the rccd_guest wireless network.
